While the underlying science in organic synthesis continues to evolve, the way in which chemistry is performed in the laboratory has changed surprisingly little. From traditional round-bottomed flasks to parallel synthesis and combinatorial techniques, the synthetic chemists toolbox has to keep up with the heavy demands on their efficiency, creativity and productivity. The challenge is to explore new approaches, strategies and tactics for compound synthesis, in order to improve productivity and efficiency.
With a strong team of chemists, engineers and lead consultants, AutoChem offers solutions to accelerate our clients’ chemistry development through our innovative microfluidic flow reactor, F4. F4 is a first-of-its-kind microfluidic flow reactor, that is able to adjust several different reaction conditions to effect flow chemistry.
Stay tuned for more updates on F4!

Piezoelectric (PZT) Transducer Module
Ultrasound has been used to facilitate chemical processes for decades. The effects of ultrasound observed during synthetic reactions are due to cavitation – a process where micro-bubbles are produced. Cavitation induces very high temperatures and pressures inside these bubbles which, we believe, will increase mixing and efficiency in continuous flow processes. We have recently developed a piezoelectric (PZT) transducer module to accelerate flow chemistry processes under ambient conditions. These PZT transducer modules are fully customizable and can be adapted to any flow technology platforms.
